In the aftermath of Season One of 1923, not all characters survived the tumultuous events. Amidst the confrontation involving Spencer and Alexandra, Arthur Jr., the former fiancé of Alexandra and son of the Earl of Sussex, tragically met his demise when he was thrown overboard into the sea.
Brandon Sklenar, who portrays Spencer, has characterized Arthur’s death as unintended, stating, “It was a spur-of-the-moment reaction. The guy had a gun, and it happened. [Spencer] didn’t intend to cause harm.”
