Michael Weatherly and Cote de Pablo are set to reprise their roles as Tony and Ziva in a new NCIS spin-off on Paramount+. The original series saw their characters, after sharing a night together, part ways as Ziva remained in Israel while Tony returned to the U.S. However, in the season 13 finale, Tony learns of Ziva’s supposed death in a blast in Tel Aviv, leaving behind their daughter, Tali. Believing her to be dead, Tony leaves the U.S. to care for Tali.
However, it’s revealed that Ziva staged her own death to protect herself and Tali. In the upcoming spin-off, Tony and Ziva reunite in Paris after Ziva’s last mission in season 17, where they’ve been living together and raising Tali. Their peaceful life is disrupted when Tony’s security company is attacked, leading them to flee across Europe, navigating danger and rekindling their trust in each other along the way in pursuit of their unconventional happily ever after.
