Harmon’s involvement in the prequel marks his return to CBS, with the series set to delve into Gibbs’ backstory while reintroducing fan-favorite characters. Despite speculation about Harmon’s return to the main series, his role remains uncertain as he explores other projects, including writing his upcoming book, “Ghosts of Honolulu.”
